Near Le Calmosien

         FOR A DIGESTIVE WALK...
 

  • The Canal de l'Est

    100 metres from Le Calmosien, you will find the old tow path converted into the "Charles Le Téméraire" cycling path by the Pays d'Épinal Coeur des Vosges.

  • The Lac de Bouzey

    The Lac de Bouzey lake is located 500 metres from Le Calmosien. The hiking trail, recently created by the Communauté de Communes du Pays d'Olima et du Val d'Avière, will allow the courageous to walk around the lake in less than two hours.


     
  • The Etang de La Comtesse

    Very close to the Lac de Bouzey lake, this classified Sensitive Natural Area is protected by the Conservatoire des Sites Lorrains. Following the trail over duckboards, you'll discover the typical fauna and flora of this magnificent bog.


     
  • The Fort d'Uxegney

    Built between 1882 and 1884, the Fort d’Uxegney was an important element of the stronghold of Épinal.
    Located 5 kilometres (3 miles) from Le Calmosien, this site is one of the rare examples of  "Séré de Rivières" fortifications modernised before 1914 remaining intact.
